                                                                 SUGGESTED ITINERARY

DAY 1- Depart from Rio de Janeiro on a coach with a private guide to Petrópolis, the Imperial City, visit this
european style town from the 19th century, visit the Cathedral, the Crystal Palace, among other historical buildings
and places. Later, keep on riding towards Ouro Preto; however, we will stop at Tiradentes to visit this marvelous
town, birthplace of Aleijadinho, one of Brazil's greatest artists. Later on the day, let's ride to Ouro Preto, Unesco
Heritage Site.
Upon arrival, you will be taken to your Pousada (hotel) change and get a taste of Mineira's cuisine for dinner
(included).

DAY 2- Today, after breakfast, you will engage on a walking tour through the historical heart of this unbelievable
town. Later in the morning, let's visit Mariana's Mine. You will see a real mine that was active until the end of the
80's. You will be able to visit the place and take a good look at how things really work in the mining business. Get
ready for another great meal for dinner (included).

DAY 3- This morning, you will have it free. Take your time to go to the soap stone market and do some shopping, or
just relax at your hotel. After check out (noon), it is time to go back to Rio de Janeiro.
